The Tech Stack Detector API returns structured data about the technologies used on a specified website. This includes information extracted from HTML, scripts, meta tags, cookies, and response headers.
The key fields in the response include "success" (indicating the request status), "url" (the analyzed website), "status_code" (HTTP response code), "total_detected" (number of technologies found), and "technology_names" (list of detected technologies).
The response data is organized in a JSON format, with a clear structure that includes a success flag, the analyzed URL, status code, total detected technologies, and an array of technology names.
The API provides information on various web technologies, including content delivery networks, analytics tools, frameworks, and libraries detected from the website's HTML and other elements.
Users can customize their requests by specifying the target URL in the JSON POST request body. This allows for analysis of any website to detect its technology stack.
Typical use cases include competitive analysis, technology audits, market research, and identifying potential technology partners by understanding the tech stacks of various websites.
Data accuracy is maintained through continuous updates and checks against a wide range of sources, ensuring that the technologies detected are current and relevant.
Users can utilize the returned data to inform decisions on technology adoption, identify trends in web development, and enhance their own website's performance by learning from competitors' tech stacks.
